Album Description

Cam Giles - The Fabric Of Michael Franks

It’s a long-standing tradition to take a masterwork and reinterpret it, but it takes loads of talent and hard work and top musicians to do it well.

And yet that’s exactly what Cam Giles and his band have done with

Cam Giles - The Fabric Of Michael Franks

This 12 track album is a startling, cool reinvention that spans decades of Michael Frank’s hits, heartbreaks and fun times, all the way back from the 70s up until now.

Cam says, “It has been an absolute blast to reinterpret these songs, these tracks are some of the most well crafted, heart felt pop / jazz tunes of all time.

Also, I have been truly blessed to have access to such fabulous Melbourne based players on this album, there are so many stunning performances from everyone involved.

The band and I love performing these works live, and are so thrilled to have this CD album out with DEX Entertainment / Newmarket Records and Spotify streaming mid April 2023.”
