This second CD single released in the Michael Charles Under The Covers series features 'Going Down'. This tune originally introduced to Michael Charles during his touring days with blues legend Jimmy Dawkins quickly became a favourite. Once again Michael Charles renders his own version, and through this recording pays homage to writer Don Nix and the 'Going Down' master Jeff Beck.

The Sky Is Crying bonus cut reels with Michael Charles magic. With much appreciation to originator Elmore James, Michael reflects back to the friendship and numerous performances of The Sky Is Crying with his dear and late great Chicago musician comrade George Base, who incidiently was Junior Well's guitarist. The song became their favourite to perform together and the memory will awlays remain in Charles' heart.
